Alleycat Creative assisted Melbourne Aquarium engage with their community and install an artwork upon their 83sqm exterior facade alongside the aquarium entrance on Flinders st.
Alleycat Creative provided a strategy to interact with the Aquarium community through a kids street art competition. The winner was then invited to meet one of Melbourne’s most prolific street artist, Makatron as he installed an interpretation of their drawing on the building facade.
Dancing Sea Jellies (inspired by six year old, Sarah) won the competition. The mural is now an iconic meeting spot on the corner of Flinders st and King st, Melbourne.
